How to lock a folder in windows xp without any software.

To perform the following tech trick..

Just Follow the steps Below.

1)) Make a Folder in C drive rename it as “xyz” without quotes.

2)) Now open Command Prompt from Start Menu.

3)) Type “ attrib +s +h C:\xyz ” without quotes and press enter.

4)) This command will Make your folder invisble and it can not be seen even in hidden files and folders.

5)) To make it visible again type “attrib -s -h C:\xyz”

You can lock any other folder also by changing the location C:\abc to address of your folder....

Hide Files in NOKIA S40 Mobiles

Eg:

1))  Go to Videos.

2))  Rename it "Videos.Jad"

3))  Now Make A New Folder With Name,"Videos.Jar"

4))  Your Videos.Jad Folder is Hidden
 
5))  To Make It Appear Again,
 
6))  Delete "Videos.Jar" Folder...

3)) now select the code and press ctrl + f..  

4)) after that press 99, and in reading highlight -> highlight all..    

5)) close the find and replace window..
